Was not as bad as I initially thought now I saw headon, but the 1 came out early in the stretch on the 3 and then again late and got a bit sandwiched between the 7 and 1 late in the game. Not sure he would have beat the 2 to be honest.

I agree. The 7 is a massive overlay at 7-2 in the Spa 9.
