I think we need to define 'richest'. If defined by revenue then WalMart wins.

If defined by market capitalization (price per share times shares outstanding) WalMart is still behind both XOM and Apple.

I remember when Apple first took over XOM before falling back some MSNBC reporter said the State owned oil company in Saudi Arabia was worth 20 times more than Apple.
