The most significant development at PID this season ... the absence of Jamie Ness.

I've heard a couple of different reasons, both business and personal. Depends who you ask.

The purses are going down.

It should open up these races a little more from a betting standpoint.

The other big development, no live racing on Friday and Saturday. They want to get on TVG on the crummy days like Monday and Tuesday.

They only put it in the sports section of the newspaper, not on the website. Here's the remaining races for today:

Race 3 (8-3-5)

Race 4 (8-5-3-2)

Race 5 (7-3-6)

Race 6 (5-1-7)

Race 7 (9-7-2-6)

Race 8 (7-4-11-10)
