I'm pretty critical of Irwin generally, but this situation involved factors other than his usual peccadilloes. It involves some tensions between the Animal Kingdom 'camp' and Rosario agent Ron Anderson.

By riding Ramsey's Rockets? Rosario is terrific but lets not too excited about wins on horses that were primed to excel. Surely any competent jock would have been able to be carried to the finish line by those "well meant" animals.

i did note in the article that they had concerns about workouts.

i don't agree or disagree with the change, just found it odd-and i didn't buy it being just about experience at ascot.

The rides that Rosario just gave in race 2 and 3 at Churchill were pretty Awesome.....Reminds of the days when Cordero would lose the lead and nail em at the wire...
