You're telling me. I remember I was babysitting the neighbors' kid, who was down for a nap and I just happened to catch the race because I was bored and channel surfing. Which, back then, was about 5 channels (many in my neighborhood still didn't have cable), so there weren't a lot of options. It's the second Derby I remember seeing.

We were lucky and got a tour of Gainesway earlier this month and got to see her gravesite.
