Thanks Point...i too thought the 5 had put a nose out front only to lose the bob. Nice stretch run. GL rest of the way in the p4, let's get it home!

They could've run around the track 5 times, the 1 was not losing that race! Ugh!

I'm not sure if Stanwyck broke bad or was inexplicably taken back as I thought that was who would be pressing the 1, but the 6 was way over bet and they let the 1 get away pretty easily. As I almost always do, I chose the wrong horse of the two I liked to bet to win. Hopefully I can get this double home to Data Link.

Good luck point! I'll be rooting you home. They made the 1 an early fave, a baaaaad one, imo. I can see Data Link getting favoritism at 9/5 by post.

If the 1 is healthy, he certainly can win this, but I agree 9/5 is an underlay on a horse who been in the barn for 8 1/2 months, which during the summer, leads me to believe he had some kind of injury and is racing at a distance less than what he really prefers.

I have to think that Shug shipping Data Link out to California means that he is ready for a big run.

While I think the 1 is definitely a vulnerable favorite, I suspect we will see a much more vulnerable favorite in the last race.
