Hollar back!
Go ahead and do it. Just advertise it for a week or two so people are aware of it. I would hate to have a contest with only 5 people.

My recommendation, if anyone cares is to run it like GPK used to run his(except please understand the concepts of addition and subtraction). Pick two-three meets (FG, Gulfstream, SA, Oaklawn, Aqu are all quality meets that are running) and give people 1 wager per day, say $20 win wager.....Everyone starts out with a $0 bankroll. Just do it for Saturday and Sundays so all can play, or any holidays where most people are off work.

1) Put a $40 Win cap on it
2) Start it Thanksgiving weekend and end Derby weekend, May 5th, that would be 24 weekends....
3) People are allowed to miss 5 weeks without getting penalized the $20 wager
4) Start a Saturday and Sunday thread saying both tracks, and the wager has to be in 10 minutes before post(easily verifable via DRF/Equibase) (kinda like the claiming rule)
5) Post results by Tuesday afternoon......

You could even change up the tracks on a weekly basis based on what the cards look like, but I think it would be nice to offer two tracks per day instead of just one.....We should also just have a certain amount of tracks to pick from, so I don't talk anyone into using Los Alamitos or Cal-Expo.....

Are you saying that Kevin doesn't understand the concepts of addition and subtraction?

Alright - I will (thanks Rev) be the cat who gets this animal out of the box and running. Not tonight, however. Me is tired and hungry. I am off work tomorrow, so while I am hanging out at Beulah betting on Beulah and Deleware I'll think over the plan and post it tomorrow night.

Scav, I agree with some of your suggestions, but not everyone on this board has Saturday's and Sunday's off - need a different approach.

Will post tomorrow! Look for the contest to start next week!

90% of the people here look at race cards on Saturday and Sunday, I can play any day but I can't take it as serious as I could on Saturday and Sunday.......
