Oh, I had to go to work afterwards... Wound up being a late night, because I had to go an hour and a half out onto Long Island after work to do puppetteer work for a promotion for "Happy Feet"-- booked through my job, but I was paid directly by the promoter, which was nice (zoo was content with the free advertising). Funny anecdote-- the kids at the event were a lot of fun, and knew a decent amount about penguins. BUT-- one dad was making kind of obnoxious comments at my puppet, so the puppet asked him to name one fact about penguins. The dad said, with authority, "I'll tell you this-- penguins are NOT birds."

Uh huh.

I didn't get back until after midnight. Looonnnng day. At least it started well.
