Thanks Booner, KNL, and Casp, I've been a big fan of Kentucky Downs and there is definitely some value throughout their cards.

Amen to that. Have had some of my best days in Franklin. Always have a great time down there.

I've been playing the horses for many years and I have to say that I never heard of Kentucky Downs. I've been playing a bit on Mondays with Saratoga and kind of stumbled into Bogeys post. I didn't play but did a bit of research on the track. It really sounds unique and fun to play. If I'm reading correctly the only track they have is a 1 mile + turf course with some european style ups and downs. The purses are enhanced with slot money so they should be getting some good barns. I'm in the Chicago area and Arlington Park has sold me on the competitive aspects of turf racing. Unfortunately our lame duck governor doesn't believe that slots could be beneficial to a near bankrupt state. But that's a whole different discussion that probably belongs elsewhere. I'm bookmarking Kentucky Downs and will be following this meet regularly.
