Yet another brutal beat. 2-3-4 with my 3 prices behind a Gary Contessa/Carlos Montalvo winner from the 12-hole in a turf route.

As is Carlos Montalvo from the 12-hole on a Closing Argument going two turns on grass. But the problem is with these bottom level turf maiden claimers that they seem to run 1,000 of every day, you have to use every possible horse that has a 1% chance of winning the race to get through it seems. In retrospect I would've tossed the absolutely useless Zito in the first leg and spread deeper in the last leg, but god forbid I can ever get through one of these terrible grass races going ONLY 4-deep. Nah, instead I run 2nd, 3rd and 4th with my 3 longest prices and Crypto Kitten, who needs to be on a farm somewhere, completely tanks as opposed to just hanging like usual.

Track Name: Del Mar (DMD)
Race: 5
Pool: SU
Selections: 5/2, 6, 8/ALL/ALL
Wager Amount: $0.10
Wager Total: $12.60

Wanted to play against the 2 and this is what I came up with. He probably wins in a gallop now.

And who was betting this horse like they knew he had hidden speed and was busting to the front.
By the way did you notice the last 3 races were won by the horse with the outside post? When is the last time that happened? Reverse rail bias?

Nice start Geeker/Casp, so much for the 3 being loan speed.
