![]() Another Midnight Lute that might be worth following is Wasted at Midnight, fifth in her debut at Del Mar on August 5. She was squeezed back at the start, fanned four or five wide into the stretch, and then came running late to finish fifth, beaten about two lengths, in a 5.5F dash won by the Proctor-trained Ponchatrain (War Front). Wasted at Midnight was a $150K Barretts 2YO and is trained by Alexis Barba.
