I am so sorry.
I know nothing that I or anyone else can say will help through this painful time. I do want to say though that he was lucky to have you. That you being there through that very sad last hour and a half... you are so brave and have such compassion. That is the most honorable thing you could have done. It doesn't seem possible now but one day you'll be able to think of him and smile again. I hope that day comes soon.

Bad Day
Wiphan, we have an aged QH show mare now (26 years old) and a mini. My wife and daughter panic so bad when she shows even the slightest sign of being off her feed or lameness, I am dreading the day that her time comes. Very sorry for your loss.
