I wonder how many people will show up tomorrow not knowing he's scratched.

OK. My post was a gut reaction. I don't really know if it really had anything to do with it but I've read from O'Neil saying that IHA must have... "whacked himself". The horse was in an enviroment that the trainer didn't want him to be.
You seem like a gambling man. I'll bet you $100 that Belmont doesn't do the detention barn thing again for the Belmont Stakes. Are we on?

Another brilliant post. You think the detention barn caused him to hurt a tendon?

This ranks with the dumbest posts I have seen on this forum to date and that is not an easy accomplishment.

It seems to be easier than you'd think though.

Not really.
Disastrous ideas by state government, nyra, and just about everybody else involved results in s.hit like this happening. Bad luck is contagious. |

Quote:
He claims the workers in O'Neill's barn tipped him off with the rumors. If that's true, I guess O'Neill forget to bring his "What happens in this barn, stays in this barn!" posted signs with him. |

From BH earlier:
I’ll Have Another jogged a half-mile and then galloped an “easy” mile, all in company with Lava Man, in his last appearance on the track before Saturday’s race, in which he will be seeking to become the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978. “He is fit and ready to go and we are just trying to let him bring as much energy to the table tomorrow as possible,” O’Neill said. “We thought giving him an easy day the day before would be a good move. He stayed with coach Lava Man just to keep everything off-speed. I was very pleased with it. Perfect. We are ready to roll.” |

2 races since september of last year before the 3 Triple Crown races................. I stand by what I've been saying for years now. There will never be a Triple Crown winner till these trainers start training their horses for it.
