Todd and I argued two things about BC Day and he was right about one and I was right about the other(he didn't like Quay and I did, and I said Bern would get looked in the eye and spit it and he said no way). I enjoyed talking to him and he was real cool. Lyons loves the game, its so apparent from the way he talks.

I was with you on CQ . Cq and Araafa realy hurt my betting day .My hedge bet using red rock in the double helped me recoup a little but I had several others ahead of Red and didnt put enough on him.

What was the one thing you were right about. Quay got beat by 10 and Bernardini ran the same race as he always does. If spitting it means finishing 2nd in the Classic to a champion on two continents, an older horse who has won multiple Grade I's then I wish I had a horse that spit all the time.

Todd Schrupp is better than who on ESPN? Out of anyone who gives a "qualified" opinion, Schrupp is one you can throw right out the window. He is an absolute fool when it comes to handicapping a horserace, or any intelligent commentary. He is a good personality on TV, but as far as picking horses, FORGET IT

I dont know about that. He puts up a play of the day on a web site that FOX has I think--anyway, he hit it like 3-4 days in a row. And I think all of them were at least 5-1 or greater.

Even bad handicappers have a few good days. It must have been a few of his good days. The majority of them are money burners. Hes brutal.

But you know, he has an opinion and that is what I respect. His picks make sense when he tells you his philosophy. But at least he is putting it out there. But most handicappers are only right about 20% of the time.

To me thats what makes him worse than anyone else. He has such a strong opinion, and on most occasions he has no idea what hes talking about. Im all for a guy throwing out a few picks, winning a few, losing a few, whatever. His reasoning is poor, his handicapping is poor. The worst part is when he tries to plug pedigree into his equation like he has any idea what hes talking about. I liken it to me trying to tell someone what is wrong with their car when I dont even pump my own gas. I dont change my own oil, I dont do anything or know anything about a car. If I walked over to a mechanic and started talking about pumps, and valves, and all that **** I would look like a douchebag. He looks like a douchebag on a daily basis
