It'll be interesting to see if the horse can run to the Sunland Derby result more often now.

Isn't He Clever appears certainty to NOT run even if slot opens. Asmussen says Preakness a possibility but 7f Woody Stephens on Belmont undercard may be the best option for the Smarty Jones gelding.

It's good to hear he's training well for a race where he will certainly be beaten double digits at every single call.

Kinda surprising. I know Robison transferred him to Asmussen to give him more racing options out east, but they shipped him to Churchill. I thought that meant that Asmussen would do everything to get him ready for the Derby. I guess the only question that remains- is Asmussen any more reliable than Parbhoo lol?

They see a major opening in the 3YO sprint division and I don't blame them. Considering Trinniberg has won two of the three main races for 3YO sprinters so far, and the other was won by a horse who is now laid up (Thunder Moccasin). While there are sure to be horses who cut back and have success later in the year, this seems like a prudent move. He has every right to be a damn good sprinter.

What's the word on Discreet Dancer?
Is he going to run in some races like the Woody Stephens or is he pointing for Gulfstream 2013?
