good news for oaklawn. average daily handle/attendance was down, but total handle/attendance was up. it pays not to miss days.
That's actually bad news. Considering the investment they made in having their races televised by TVG and the immaculate weather they had, being down in any category is bad.

Oaklawn is a very poorly run racetrack for the simulcast bettor. Limited menu of wagering options, late draw for entries, poor post time management. At least HANA loves them...
