I assume you watched both. What did you think of the toothless hillbilly who was receiving welfare (because he deserved it) but was against others from getting it?

Does it make sense to vote for HIS favorite candidate? See how convoluted the whole thing is? All of the candidates suck. There is no winner or loser in November.

I have to find that whole clip - I only saw a few seconds of the Mississippi one. I don't get HBO (was going to and then they canceled Luck), and I didn't hear about the Mississippi piece until this whole controversy blew up on Monday.

I will say this: If he's for him getting it and not others - that's patently unfair - but realistic in this, perverse way: If everyone got it, or even just a few more people than today, then the system collapses.

We simply cannot afford to support the permanent recipient class any longer. Those who think we can must think it's fine for everyone to file for these "benefits" and stop working and crash the economy. Then we'll have real "fairness".

This crap goes back to FDR, and, later, LBJ. It was a poison pill.
