If we can just get him to take a shower, shave, get a real job, come home at 5PM every day, stop playing cards, and stop hanging out with those losers.

Posters on here and Cot Campbell whining and complaining about the image of horse racing portrayed by Luck? A couple of episodes ago Ace wrote a check for $376,000 for retired race horses.
Here's a story about real horses starving.

sumitas loves this show. That is a strong indicator that it is catering to morons.

My teeth were grinding while they were waiting for the stewards decision in the grandstand. ***** please. It would take a full hour to get crippled f.uck in the winners circle.

Maybe in Cot's world anything negative about horse racing should also be censured.

Got caught up to episode 6 last night - Agree, the videography of the racing scenes is truly impressive. The rest is pure dreck. Glad I stuck with Shameless on Sunday nights and recorded this. I'm sure I will watch the rest of the season, only because of the subject matter - but to get yourself all twisted up over this "cuz it has horseys in it" is really silly. It is not very good.

Shameless + House of Lies + Californication

Luck -on demand. I watched all episodes from start to latest in one day. I like it....albeit I am sometimes expecting Dustin to say "two hundred forty seven two hundred forty seven" aka Rain Man.

FTFY Geeker - though I'm not the biggest House of Lies fan, it's ok, but find myself switching back to HBO to get mah Kenny Powers fix and then not even watching HoL on DVR.

Shameless is the bomb

Any chance you will be at Del Mar during the first weekend of August?

I don't know what others think, but last night's episode of Luck, was, in my opinion, far and away the best of the series, and really catapulted the show into the full HBO standard quality we've come to expect. I was fine with it before, enjoyed it, great racing scenes, etc - but last night was the best, and should really hook viewers that might have been loose on the tether.
