If there are 2 teams from same conference ranked #1 and #2, but not the conference champ, they go to the NCG. And the conference champ (team #3) wins the conference champ and is granted a BCS game as well. Ex: LSU plays Georgia for SEC title. If GA beats LSU (very close) the human and computer polls probably will drop LSU to #2, moving Bama up to #1. That gives the SEC the ranked #1 and #2 teams, and then GA is the SEC conference winner, making them BCS bound. |

![]() Seems like a pretty big money scam if it would happen that way. 3 teams from the same conference in BCS games would mean a lot of $ to the SEC.

![]() Consider 4 of the actual (not ranked) top 6 are probably actually SEC teams it is not too bad...

Alabama and LSU are going to play in the "championship" game, but I will never be convinced Alabama deserves to be playing rather than a one loss conference champion. The fact that Alabama couldn't even win their own division should automatically disqualify them from playing in the nonsense BCS "championship" game. Still, if LSU wins out, the BCS will move along, business as usual.

![]() Hate to interrupt this little love fest between the two of you ... but I'm not sure I could take another "game of the century."
I'm glad the SEC does so well - and I hope LSU wins the title game. I don't think it should be against Alabama. Bama had their chance to beat this team and didn't. At home, no excuses. They're a one loss team - just like Stanford and Oklahoma State. Didn't even play in the conference championship. Would much rather see LSU/OSU or LSU/Stanford If Bama were to win the rematch, then what? Oh, I know - we wouldn't have to be subjected to watching Bama frat boys crying in the stands and being consoled by their girlfriends - that was embarrassing. Les - I'm not sure what you're thinking - but you're about the only LSU fan that I'm aware of that thinks a rematch is the right thing to do. ![]()
