This is unbelievable - the protesters are now leaving Wall Street to regroup at Zuccotti, and the MSM isn't even showing it .... nothing to see here, just a bunch of dirty hippies, pay no attention sheeple ....
BBC is showing. Ustream is showing. US media? nothing. 40 arrests today in march to Wall Street. Police pushing and shoving. A retired Detroit police officer was arrested in uniform - the NYPD tried to get him to walk away, but he would not, and made them arrest him. Tim Poole saw a cop pull out a baton and full-force rap a man in the femur, a man was just standing there.

And that the main stream sees the protesters as a bunch of spoiled, whining brats attempting to assign blame for their failures on anyone but themselves? |

He is a main stream President who ran as a main stream candidate, no threat to Wall Street and the rich (his actions more than prove that), McCain was a bit of a wild card and not trusted completely by the power elite, and Palin...my God! For the most part, news agencies cover elections pretty fairly as there is seldom much to choose from regarding the candidates. Notice how Paul is pretty much ignored by the media, I don't agree with a lot of his views but I can see that he's treated like poison.

Never realized it is the rich and powerful that are so into who killed Casey Anthony, who got kicked off Dancing with the Stars and the dead Michael Jackson's physician. |

Of course not, but it fills a news cast so Occupy Wall Street can be ignored. Casey Anthony, Michael Jackson and DWTS is fluff to satisfy the minds of the public so they don't focus on their own lives. Think about it, mindless "entertainment" is a narcotic to the general public...rich folks would much rather water cooler discussions focus on who got kicked off DWTS rather than looking critically at the mess this country is in!

It was quite difficult to avoid at the time. Avoiding this Occupy nonsense has been much easier for me.

Guess I'm not a main stream media (rich, powerful) guy or part of the 99%.

I do not know the whereabouts of Casey Anthony, but I am quite sure she is still alive.

The fact that American citizens are taking to the streets in protest would seem newsworthy to me. Again, there wasn't much "newsworthy" in our protests in the 60's except when Bull and his boys broke out the fire hoses, dogs and clubs. Even if most of what is happening is mundane, it's still newsworthy and the only way folks rights can be protected in through the presence of "eyes"...social media and left wing coverage will always be subject to question while NBC covering an 84 year old woman being pepper sprayed would have a much larger effect.
