I watched the replay after work on friday and after watching Secret Circle win that race, I had thought I had the Pick 5. Excited, I looked at my account balance but it did not reflect any increase. I had not known that #7 Congo in the second race had been DQ'd off of an objection that he did not instigate. How does he get DQ'd and Goldikova get off scott free???

If Misty For Me had a jockey with a pulse I would have hit the late pick three and pick 4. Worse yet if Flat Out doesnt get edged by Havre De Grace I would have had $30,000 + superfecta.

While watching BC replays today... I realized I took another bad beat I didn't even realize.

Dullahan necking out Take Charge Indy cost me a $3 Super.
Since when did Kent Dedumbeaux start finishing on horses?

I thought when watching the race on site that Take Charge Indy faded further down the lane and finished 6th or 7th.

Then there was the whole Havelock fiasco.

I wish I would have went back home after Friday.

He gets DQ'd because Johnny V. struck the outside horse in the face with the whip 6-7 strides before the wire, causing him to lose his action. Not much grey area in that one.

I agree, but couldn't an argument have been made that the third horse drifting, herding to be honest, exacerbated the situation perhaps causing the whip incident?

Went 3 of 4 in the early Pick 4 on Saturday. Had Force Freeze, didn't have Amazombie. Of course FF had to put up a fight when AMZ came to him and give me false hope that he'd get his nose back up.

Was alive to HdG for the P4 for $25k... and if either Goldi or Turallure wins the Mile, I have All in the last leg. Such is life in this game.

I asked that question since on the first replay I didn't hear mention of the whip foul. I was then told by a local that the objection was for striking the horse with the whip and summarily advised "that in Kentucky, we treat whip responsibility akin to high sticking in the NHL".
