Sorry Joe, no way that convo took place. Unless their plan is to throw the season and take Luck with the #1 because they plan on promoting Manning to GM net year.

Personally I think he was done last year, their running game has been atrocious since Addai fell off, and the rest of the team is old. Say what you will, but I seriously doubt the score would have been much different with Manning behind center.
