McPeek was with him last night and also again this morning when Dr. Bramlage and Dr. Ruggles X-rayed his pelvic bone, and found the x-ray to be normal, it was reported in a release. There were no fractures or breaks of the pelvic bone which is very good. Here Comes Frazier has a comminuted or “multi-piece” fracture of the right hock (tibia bone), not a compound fracture as previously thought. There is also a line on the big bone just below the tibia which is the Talus bone. They have not been able to determine if this is a fracture or crack or not. They are going to X-ray that bone again in a day or so.

here's hoping that everything turns out well with the horse.

This game is too good to have another spill, or flying dismount, win an Eclipse for photography.

A borderline life-threatening injury but at least the horsie wasn't abused by a whip before racing. Sorry about that, bettors. I'm sure you understand being disingenuous pantywaists is far more important than your support.

You're welcome.

Surely something more positive has happened or will happen to get an award for photography. Jockeys in midair and horses falling. Gotta be something else that isn't redundant and/or bad PR for the sport. Maybe someone was allowed in with a camera while Bernardini and Zenyatta turned for home, so to speak. I'd fully expect that to get the prize.

Can someone link me to a site that has all of the past Eclipse Award winning photos? I google'd for it to no avail.
