Seems strange that Zazu is carrying the same weight as Switch and St. Trininans going 8.5 furlongs. Not much weight for age consideration in this race.

This race was a handicap until Zenyatta came around and they felt the need to remove the handicap so she wouldn't skip Del Mar.

You're right - it is kind of silly - the outright highweight in this race has run just one time in the last 18 months - and that lone race of hers was at Praire Meadows.

On paper, there should be some pace for Ultra Blend and Zazu to close into.
