![]() I remember Burress making a nice catch over the middle his rookie year. He was untouched - instead of running - he hops up - spikes the ball - and the defense is waiting for the ball to come back down to secure a fumble recover while the dumbass is showboating.
No matter how stupid he may look for shooting himself in the foot with a loaded gun and going to jail for a couple years while nearing the end of his prime ... that play in Pittsburg was his peak showing of dumbfucl<ery for me. |

![]() They're saying Moss to the Eagles if he "comes down on his asking price" - same thing they said with the Jets.
The Eagles were desperate to get him last time in free agency - and gave him a better offer than the Pats - if that doesn't work out ... he's probably going to get paid by someone like the Rams ('Sup Josh McDaniels reunion) or the Browns ('Sup 40 million under the cap and no WR's) Sounds like he has a team he's not excited to play for on the hook for a price he wants - but he's still trying to get similar money from a contender. |

![]() Considering Nnamdi's statements about the Eagles being his top choice all along, it looks like the Jets got played by his agent, who coincidentally
![]() Burress for $3 million isn't a huge risk, hopefully he can still play a little. As for letting Brad Smith go, the kick-off rule change, which got forgotten about due to the labor strife, makes that part of the game less important. While he is an excellent Wildcat QB, I think he proved over the last 3 years he is not a very good WR. Great guy who performed admirably in big spots, but unquestionably expendable. |

![]() I don't get how the Eagles are fitting all of this under the cap. They've signed seemingly 1/2 the actual high profile free agents this offseason. Between Nnamdi, Cullen Jenkins, and Jason Babin, they have like $100 million in salary tied up for the next five seasons. That has to have an impact sometime, right?

I was shocked to see he signed for 12 a year - when reports had him going for 17 at the least. I wonder if the Bucs ever had an offer on the table, bein tht they have serious wiggle room with spending this year. Eagles went all-in this year, and picked up a 2nd and 5th rounder for nxt yr in the process. #birdgang

![]() Nnamdi basically signed for the same money that Dunta Robinson is making. Now the question is who is going to trade for Samuel?

![]() Those were some clueless reports then. Nobody is giving a corner $17 million a year. Revis is the best in the game and he got $11 million per.
