I saw a workout for Toy Cannon down at Ingleside (below), but never saw one for "Pal". Did he have one before being shipped north to SAR?

First published workout!
Of the three 2YO's to work out this morning, his was the fastest by more than a full second.

Spoke with Gary after the work. He was pleased. Thought the colt has a good way of going and did everything well within himself. All in all, a useful first trip around Oklahoma.

Photos of Pal at Saratoga
My brother went to the Spa today. After meeting Steve for the 1st time and dropping the requisite Benjamin's into NYRA's coffers, he went and paid a visit to next year's Derby winner, My Pal of Pals.
 BTW, if you're planning on visiting, he's in Barn 58, Stall 2. (I'm referring to Pal, of course.... my brother is in Stall 3.)  He spoke w/ Paul Barone for a little bit (Gary Sciacca's longtime asst.).... said he was a terrific guy - answered lots of questions and was very accomodating. Paul mentioned Pal will probably get another published workout in the next day or two. As Steve mentioned the other day on ATR, they're pointing for his debut to be @ SAR in late August. Here are a few photos (if I'm doing this correctly). Apologies to Barbara Livingston, Skip Dickstein, et. al.

PAL turned in a visually impressive half mile work Thursday in about :52 with a sustained gallop out all the way to the start of the backstretch. Gary asked Irad Ortiz to target :51-:52, so he couldn't have handled the colt better, and he never asked the City Zip colt for run at any time. Has a ways to go and needs to earn his gate card, but continues to do everything right on the way to his debut.
