Despite an idiotic attempt to denigrate others instead of admitting being wrong, it's still ok to actually talk about the race. For those that didn't see it, it was wonderful theatre. Rarely does a race match the hype it receives beforehand. Today, this one not only matched it but surpassed it. Two really top class runners hooked up at the top of the lane and ran stride for stride to the wire. Neither wanted to give way but at the end, it was Blind Luck inching away. Very nice to see them both bring it again and leave everyone feeling satisfied and looking forward to the next matchup.

Missed the race and I'm a huge Blind Luck fan so thanks for the visual.

Will catch the replay later.

What was I wrong about exactly?

You're right (finally), it was a fantastic race. Far too good to be soured by your idiocy and the tough guy who has 2 beers and then acts like Mike Tyson.

This is the kind of talk I have referred to a few times in the last year, about the superlatives for Blind Luck being a bit far fetched.

I know the older males (or younger males!) aren't much this year and it would not be the most surprising thing ever if BL or HDG could beat them, but to say with certainty those are the two best dirt horses in the country is a big stretch.

I would be pretty surprised if either of them could beat TC or SC, on dirt, going 9.

How 'bout 10? I thought BL might be best at ten last year after Saratoga.
