Sounds like an even trade. I'll take a quick 5f maiden special anyday over a stretch duel between two older champions like we had in the Eclipse this morning in Britain.

Everyone who still has an interest in horse racing should follow your lead and focus on the 2yo-in-training sales. That's where all the real action is taking place. These early season maiden special weights are the final tests that will ultimately replace the Triple Crown races as the barometers for future stallion/broodmare prospects.

Who needs the Jockey Club Gold Cup, Hollywood Gold Cup, Whitney, Big Cap, and Woodward.

We got Barrett's March and May, Timonium May, OBS March, OBS June, and Keeneland April now.
