I once went 3/4 off Chad Ogea in a high school game back in 1988.

That's awesome! Although most went 3 for 4 off Ogea in his career.

He wasn't exactly unhitable at the pro level, but at the time he did do a fair job as a 3 starter. However in high school he was pretty tough.

Hey.

I notice most starters throw about 60% strikes.Tomlin usually is very close to 70%.

That doesn't happen too often from what I see.

Let's see how he does tonight.

Should be fun.

He pitched very well, another W. Gives up a ton of home runs but when you don't walk anyone have to string hits together. It's been painful watching these Rocky broadcasters. For having 15 to 20 hall of famers minimum on their team you'd think they'd be better than .500 this year. I guess all these talking heads are massive homers for their home team now. Must be in their contracts. I knew tulowitzski was good but I never knew he was better than a Honus Wagner/Ozzie Smith combo but I know that now. They said the Indians would go 0-9 in NL parks because hafner can't play. Maybe they are right.

Pestano and Sipp are very, very nasty. C perez kept Seth Smith in the park tonight...barely. It's a W for America's team and the Tiggers finally won so they stay in first place longer than I thought two weeks ago.

they were truly shocked they didn't sweep America's team. The Tribe is good at home other than that Texas series. I'd be overjoyed to take 2 of 3 in any road series. These guys were furious. They couldn't believe the luck of the Tribe tonight.

That hanging slider by Perez last night is the only earned run given up by the pen in the last 29 innings.

Did you really?

He actually had a couple pretty good years for the Tribe.

And that was about it.

What position did you play?

No kidding?

Southpaw is good.Sounds like you were pretty good.he was a junk thrower in the majors, but would guess that stuff could be very hard to hit in hs,college.So..was it? What does does that stuff look like from someone who can throw it well?

Will be back later...anxious to see.

He was a nibbler with his CB, and very good at changing speeds with his CB and FB. He was no good high in the zone with any of his pitches, especially his CB since it was 3/4.

Wasn't he one of the guys involved in that tragic boat accident in Spring Training?

That was Steve Olin, Tim Crews, and Bob Ojeda. Olin and Crews died.
