![]() I was being sarcastic. I absolutely think it should remain in The Paddock. My previous thread, discussing the swift adjudicating abilities of European racing, which was in stark contrast to the way those items are dealt with in the US, was swiftfly moved to oblivion in the international room last week.
The point - Royal Ascot races deserve to be discussed in this room, as do other major international race meetings that could have Breeders' Cup related implications. Similarly, the ongoing contrast to the greater body of the sport versus American racing is a worthwhile topic of conversation. |

![]() If Bridgetown wins are people gonna come on here and try and give props to Ken McPeek (the horse's original trainer) the way they do whenever Curlin's name is invoked?
After Bridgetown's second in the important BC Juvenile Turf, he was mentioned for the 2000 Guineas and St. James's Palace. Of course, a subsequent 4th in the Grade 3 Generous behind Who's Up quickly squashed those hopes. |
