EHV is very bad stuff. Isolation and vaccination are required.

That's a good way to try to protect them. I'm not a virologist but it seems to me that EHV mutates like the flu. Read that article. It talks about EHV-1 and 4. Many people don't realize all the problems that horses are vulnerable to. West Nile, coggins, worms...geesh, the list is endless. DTS |
