No wire jobs, and only one laying within the first two.
I guess its better than it has been, but it still aint saying much Hooves.
I'm not so sure its playing better towards speed today than it usually does and I'm watching and capping but wouldn't bet a race on the stuff with a gun to my head.
if you are within 1 or two of the lead at the 1/8 poll your winning..thats all im saying..no death on the front end..as was the case..at least with the rain..

Dude I hear you but at other tracks speed isn't defined by being close at the 1/8th pole. LOL!!!

I'm not busting on you Hooves, I'm busting on the track. I'm laughing my ass off right now. An owner all you guys would know was just on the phone with me talking a horse deal and apparently he was watching Keeneland just now.
Owner says " Look at this ****, theres gotta be an inch of standing water on this stuff and its supposed to drain right through, whos ****ing great idea was this **** anyway?"

Hooves imagine the cooincidence as I'm talking to you on this thread to hear that over the phone. I'm still laughing so hard right now my sides hurt.

ITS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just watched the 7th from Keenland , I cant believe how clean the horses and riders come back in the pouring down rain. Man wish they would have had Polycrap in when i used to ride at Ruidoso and it would come a flood at 4 pm everyday, some days I would have 6 pairs of goggles on and still I would be pulling the last pair down at the head of the lane.

i also cannot see any water on the track, which is amazing given the downpour they are having.

But, no, I had to shut her down. I did see your other thread and every time I hear about any kind of breakdown it makes me absolutely sick. I don't care which track, which owner, horse, jock, if its a champion or $5k claimer. On some level, I end up feeling guilty that it happens because I funnel money into the system...like I help encourage putting these beautiful animals in situations that are more dangerous than they may otherwise face if we had no racing at all. Irrational on some level, I know...and it does help to know that these horses were bred to run and they love it. But my knee-jerk reaction is always the same...
yeah it was a grass race though.
I just get frustrated with people who dont watch races every day telling people who do what they saw.
I know Hooves and Randall and Joel and BTW watch races, but based on the comments i read it sounda as if noone actually watches them yet still has a strong opinion, I find this amazing and am blowing my top over the amount of people who cold be dumb enough to argue about something they havent seen.
