It's like they lined every potential GOP Pres candidate up, asked who wanted to run against Obama, and every one of them is taking a step back.

Will be an interesting Iowa. Romney is skipping Iowa, I'll say.
deeply offended that Huckabee is mentioned in the same post as Wingnut

The best thing President Obama has going for him is the pathetic nature of the GOP candidates...then again, it's very early in the process.

the really sad part is we haven't had a really good candidate in years. look at the last elections, look who's gotten their party's nominations. kerry, gore, bush? mccain...we've had some really bad noms to choose from...

disagree. john mccain in 2008 was probably the best candidate for president i ever didn't vote for. we'd all be better off if he'd been elected in 2000 instead of bush.

Well he used a racist term for the people that held him captive. And the feigned outrage club can't have that.

i wanted him to get the nom instead of bush back then. but when he finally did get that nom, he blew it with his selection of running mate.

he would have lost with jesus as his running mate in 2008. it was the economy. obama/palin would have beat mccain/biden.

I agree with that. McCain started to blow it in 2008 during the trip back to Washington in the "crisis" (where he "canceled the debate", but ended up doing nothing in Washington, and Obama looked presidential). He was a different man by 2008, though - cranky, old, burnt-out, didn't seem like he really wanted to run.

I was voting McCain all the way up to three days after Palin was announced as the VP pick. By then the horror was too much.
