Does the fear of losing stalls running horses away always enter into the mind of a trainer? Can a trainer with 10 stalls at Belmont just run to Philly all the time and run in a 16k claimer without NYRA having a talk with him/her?
The difference being that Calder isnt offering any races presently. I'm sure if NYRA shut down for 3 months they wouldnt have an issue with shipping to Philly Park during the downtime.
