6 year old gelding in his 27th start, he was last in his race at Lingfield yesterday and had a heart attack immediately following...

Arakti. Just three years old. A winner of two races, and twice stakes-placed. Fractured off fore leg in the G1 International Stakes today.

For anyone who doesn't realize it, he was a son of Rakti who we lost in December.

Arakti was truly up and coming.

Fenix Two and Marching Song died after being electricuted today at Newbury. Horrific. Other horses were burned in their mouths.

A brutal day.

Glencove Marina was 2nd in the G1 Hennessey Gold Cup at Leopardstown.

Glencove Marina collapsed after the line and lost his life. This was a truly black day for horseracing, and one which won't be quickly forgotten.
