![]() Elmo is a pacer not trotter. I have been involved in harness racing for 20 years. Our sport definitely has major issues, one of which is a lack of publicity to inform people when we have a superstar.

![]() Great explanation, hope it helps. Pacers are faster than Trotters as they tend to glide over the track and the pounding on the track doesn't seem to be as severe as watching a thoroughbred.
