You are smart enough to know Blame and Z would have steam rolled Mo at any distance. No matter of the pace!! |

I hate to break the news to you Jack - but Blame's not as good as A LOT of people think. Zenyatta isn't either. Captain Steve as a fall 3yo - would have smoked them both at any distance.

The point is that a 2yo colt 1st time routing could hang with the best Male and female route horses at 8.5f. |

How would inserting Blame and Zenyatta into the BC Juvie field impact Uncle Mo's race at all? It wouldn't - because he has a lot more early speed than those two. He would still run the exact same race that he did. This isn't hard to grasp. Blame and Zenyatta aren't the type of horses who have a lot of natural speed and can impose their will on speed horses like Uncle Mo. That's why lone F speed horses like Regal Ransom and Haynesfield dusted Blame. That's why horses like Anabaa's Creations and Rinterval took Zenyatta right down to the photo. I never said Uncle Mo would have beat them both if the two ran in the Juvie - but he would have run the exact same race - and the question becomes .. do Blame and Zenyatta have a 108 Beyer or a 1.25 Ragozin or whatever gauge you want to use in them .. at 8.5fs. |
