![]() WCSIN beat the boys very nicely in a stakes race in October, and that was the same race Katie won last year before winning both Guineas races.
WCSIN was a bit unlucky today - the interference she suffered led to the second-placed Magic Briar being disqualifed - but I don't think she was going well enough to challenge the amazing winner. Replay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ld8bv7JQXjs The result after the DQ of Magic Briar: King's Rose Twilight Savings Smoulder We Can Say It Now Magic Briar ![]() Ears pricked! King's Rose is by Redoute's Choice out of a Nureyev mare, and she was fabulous today. No luck in her trip, wide all the way, but still way too good. I never really noticed her until today, but she blew me away with this performance. Last edited by _ed_ : 11-13-2010 at 04:54 AM. |

There's also this really hot 2yo stakes field. ![]() ![]() These two races were good... 2yo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2gpO0m7aFs Counties Cup: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWtFFhLN5Cc That Spicey Miss win was very nice, by the way. I don't think it was a strong field that she beat, so we'll have to wait and see if she's as good against better fields. But she looks talented. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Oh man I wasn't expecting that. I'm trying to think of something positive to say here and I guess she was only like 4 lengths back any way. Brilliant, champion... no matter what she will always be both. Maybe she's just tired now... |
