![]() This makes it to the Supreme Court? Tells you all you need to know about the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. I hope this guy didn't get an infection from his injection!

![]() It's pretty typical of all lawyers trying to keep their death row client alive, don't you think? They use anything, there are always stays, the stays advance quickly, they are overturned, the criminal is put to death. The stays nearly always advance out of the circuits to the Supremes because they are death penalty issues (who would want different Circuit courts establishing precedent)

![]() They don't get to the Supreme Court very often for flimsy arguments like this. If they are against the Death Penalty PERIOD, they should just be honest about it and not just try to stop every single execution that they can for any reason imaginable. And I do mean imaginable. I would love to see the dissenting opinion.

It was probably the first "foreign drug" challenge ever received (why it made it all the way up). It's well known that foreign drugs (elderly getting their heart meds cheaply from Canada, Mexico for example) can have major efficacy problems compared to US stuff (fake drugs, wrong ingredient, weak, etc) Because they don't have that pesky government FDA interference like we have in testing and manufacturing ![]()
