But yeah, he should be running in an allowance compared to Graded Stakes...In fact, he could be the favorite for last in the BC Juvenile.

I'm going to bet Prince Will I Am in the Jamaica. He may ultimately want more ground but he really ran a nice race in the N1X last time out and the pace in here looks like it'll be solid.

Yeah, I ended up taking him as well.

Lubash was a possibility for the Jamaica. Would have been fun to watch him here.

On a semi related note, I cannot wait for South Park next week!

An entire episode on NJ wops!

Huh? The point that poster was making was that Stay Thirsty doesn't belong in the Juvenile, but rather in an allowance race - at least tha's how it sounded. I also never said he should run in an allowance race.

No, I think it's asinine that he's going to train up the the Juvenile off a 2 month layoff, with his last race at 7 furlongs.

I don't even think you're speaking English because what you just posted makes no sense whatsoever.

I think I am speaking fine English matter of factly. In fact I think it's idiotic they are evening running this horse in the Juvenile. I absolutely agree that he belongs in an allowance race as prep race or not he's not much horse and likely to be up the track in the Breeders Cup Juvenile.

Considering how little you want horses you like to run, that's where it makes total sense that you would probably have the horse take the winter off and return at Gulfstream, considering that may be the last time we ever see this horse run a good race after seeing Pletcher's freak jobs at Gulfstream in the winter.

If the poster meant that the ALW would be a prep, then I agree. I think he's a good horse, but I think he'll be up the track without a prep. 2 months off, last race at 7 furlongs? I can't figure Todd out here, but whatever.

I'm hardly concerned that he won't turn into a good 3 year old as I'm high on him and have been since his first start.

My intention was that I don't think this horse has deserved much of the attention he's gotten so far. If his handlers and pedigree suggest he's a classic distance horse, why not take your time with him, run him in an allowance race this fall, and work him into graded stakes next year around two turns if he develops as much as they all expect him too?

Stay Thirsty would very likely run 1-2 in this race. Who are the killers going to the Juvy? He belongs right on the path he is on.

Right into the Juvenile off of the Hopeful? No thanks. I don't like it with Boys in Tosconaova and I don't get it with this horse, who hasn't shown nearly the ability that he has hype.

I'm basically praying for there to be a horse that I can be even moderately interested in for the Juvenile. I don't want any part of Uncle Mo (even if he wins by 10 on Saturday) or Boys at Tosconova.

Some people like him, that's all and for good reason. I'm not quite sure what he's done wrong. However, where is this hype you're referring to? Uncle Mo is getting hype. Boys is getting hype. Stay Thirsty? He's not.

We'll also have Madman Diaries going in off that kind of spacing.

The path he's on is running in the Juvy without a prep race, a highly unusual move. I get that he is the 2nd stringer in his barn and I don't care that he's not running in the Champagne, but I'm sure Todd could have found another prep if he wanted to.
