I'm pretty sure I'm not one of her crazed fans, there were some very obsessed people at HP this past weekend I enjoy the show she puts on and I am fortunate enough to have had a chance to be around her on several occasions and find her to be a great personality... But I felt that way about the $4,000 claimer that I rescued (Nopie).

I was just as excited to see Richard's Kid this weekend (and I won a heck of a lot more money on him!)... I am a fan of this sport and respect and admire the stars of this sport - jockeys , trainers and the horses

Nopie is permanently retired to GEVA and is as happy as a horse can be. He's got two friends with him in his paddock and he's enjoying being a horse. His coat is grown out, he gets dirty and muddy whenever he wants and is completely spoiled by the volunteers that help out there. I was looking for a lifetime home for him but nothing compared to the love and care he was getting at GEVA. I couldn't move him from a place he loved so much and where he was loved so he'll be staying there as long as they'll have him.

I just wanted him to be a happy horse, and he's doing that at GEVA. Thanks for asking about him!

This is really great! Kind of reminds me of Justa Bob from Jane Smiley's book.

I believe the third photo is her reply to this comment
