Default Monmouth Hurdle day

Looks like handle on the P5 was down nearly 50% from last sat... What does that tell you Monmouth. Maybe next year

1. No Hurdle Events in the P5
2. Why not have Hurdle day on a Sunday since handle will be down anyway vs the NFL and consider hurdle fans with their fancy clothes, wine and cheese may not be interested in the NFL...

Question

What I want to know is, the 10th race description says "one and one half mile on the hurdle"....I watched the race, they didn't jump over any of the hurdles. Can someone explain??

Was the track really slow? I was away and just checked the results for these. Times seemed real slow for routes.
