They burried 5 children yesterday, so sad! A piece of good news, a couple are improving in hospitals and one child they sent home to die suddenly started responding and was readmitted to the hospital. The Amish continue to show us all the true meaning of compassion, forgiveness and courage. One of the older girls (she was 13) went to this murdering piece of garbage and pleaded with him to let the others go, she told him he could kill her but let her sister and the others go! Unbelievable bravery and unconditional love for others...we could all learn from her, I doubt I'd be that brave and loving! And then for the Amish families to go and comfort the murder's wife and kids...if only all of us could live up to that standard, what a different world this would be!
