No Explaining intrigues me.

I figured your boy Sciacca gave you a tip over a bowl of Carbonara at King Umberto's.

I don't trust House of Grace at all.

I thought Bay to Bay's last race was a solid effort considering how the race played out.

I agree, I think she'll run very well here. I also think House of Grace is due to rebound in a big way.

Robby Albarado will certainly be due by the time the Lake George rolls around, 0-20 and counting...

Does she always have to draw the far outside post?

Well. . . For one, I think a lot of the horses she was running against last year have ended up being overrated or disappointments. I guess you could say she needed the last race, but trip wise I didn't think she had any excuse not to blow by those horses - she came to them and they repelled her - and Granted Tiger didn't exactly flatter her today. I also don't think Suroor (Metee) is an upgrade over McPeek. Plus she'll be overbet.

That was annoying. No way she should've been 16-1 and she had absolutely nowhere to go in the stretch. She's legit. So's the winner.

Not even about that, man. She got clear with plenty of time. Lezcano just couldn't get her straightened out and in a drive. He absolutely sucks. When he finally got her to change leads, stopped ****in around with the reins, took a hold and put a stick to her, she TOOK OFF.

You might be right--and Steve might be right that she wasn't getting to the winner-but I'm so sick of betting horses who end up getting stuck inside. I'm all for saving ground--obviously I strongly prefer it. But a rider needs to have an exit strategy and the ability to carry out that strategy if he's going to take an inside path. Staying glued to the rail and just hoping that you'll magically get an opening doesn't work.

Was my play as well, but I'm not sure she was getting up to the winner even without that brief traffic hesitation. I would say she continues to improve with distance experience and wants even more added ground. Nice filly...

Congrats and agreed Mitch, she almost overcame a 4 wide 1st turn, 3 wide uncovered trip to just narrowly miss. Super race by her.
