![]() I would be more inclinded to like this Todd then yesterday's, the works on this one suck and they even worked on turf... This low level makes sense, the Midnight Lute yesterday had some good works and bullets, and like I said if he could run he would have been in NY or NJ. I think this Todd wins this race. Nothing wrong with taking9-2 especially when the top beyer is in like mid 40's for the logical contenders.

![]() WOW, that was ugly, almost as bad as my speed handicapping.

![]() never picked up its feet; which was clear from the odds.
then again, a 25:1 shot won the race and Dutrow was 7:5. I think they were trying yesterday and fell on their faces. |

![]() I would say the bottom line of this is, it was a totally foolish price at 1/2 on a firster in that race, even if it was Pletcher with some pedigree and good works, seeing as how there were some horses who had already been solidly competitive in the MSW ranks. 1 horse came out of a decent effort MSW at Delaware with a high 60s beyer first out, another came out of an ok Churchill MSW effort with a mid 60s beyer first out although he was off a layoff, and the winner came out of a good first out debut showing speed before tiring to 3rd with a 62 beyer, before faltering going long last time out against Sunland Derby winner Endorsement, so it's not like the horses who had started had no credentials or opportunity to improve.
