You'd have to include Isaiah in that list, no? Don't think there are many who would argue Pippen was a better NBA player than Thomas.

These guys were better then Pippen, I used 1989-1995 I think.
Bird's last Larry Bird season was 1988
Barkley was routinely savaged throughout his career as a me first gunner
Clyde Drexler was better than pippen? Ridiclous
Hakeem, Shaq, Robinson and Ewing are all centers and as such one of them was always the 4th best center in the league when Pippen was the best SF.
Reggie Miller? He is surely a better announcer. Even he wouldnt say he was better than Pippen.

Ask Jordan who he would have rather had as a running mate and outside of Hakeem or Shaq he is taking Pippen everytime. (Bird was a corpse in the 90's)
LOL

Clyde Drexler vs. Scottie Pippen is certainly debatable. I don't think there is anything "ridiculous" about that notion. Drexler's teams were consistently amongst the best in the league and he was their best player. Often, it was Jordan that Drexler was being compared to (now that might be ridiculous). From any standpoint besides "titles" which you already said was a poor measure, Drexler's career matches up very well with Pippen's.

He is very comparable, and nobody can take your multiple nightly comedy spot on DT. That has been proven time and time again.

Anyone comparing Lebron to Grant Hill should not be allowed to post in the sports area. Then lowering yourself to take shots at me and my past is just lame.

Please tell me why there can't be a logical comparison?

Before you ramble...

I'll change the subject...

What team will get more action with Lebron's mom this coming year?

A. The Cav's
B. The Heat
C. Any team with former Cav's on it.

Pre-injury Grant Hill was probably going to be a hall of fame player

But there wasn't one day that he was in the same league as James.

James may be a narrisistic, spoiled kid. He may have a hugely inflated vision of himself. He may not have the killer instict that we all want.

But the idea that he isnt that good or that Miami wont win a title because of him is silly.

I'm glad you responded to Ryan, he is making one of the worse comparisons EVER. How many finals apperances does GH have? How many MVPS? Did I miss Lebrons possible career ending injury? GH was destined to be great and the injuries are a total shame, but Lebron is on another planet, his career ppg is right around 28, I'm guessing Grant is around 16?

Let me say it again, Pre injury Grant Hill was a very good player but not in the same league as James. Post injury Hill is a shell of what he was. Hill would have been considered a poor mans James.

I think my comparison more stems from, even with all the ability they have (or had pre-injury in Hill's case), neither could put it to use and get an NBA Championship. Also the "hype" factor with both. Hill's wasn't nearly as big as the self-proclaimed "king," but I recall when Hill came in the league from Duke and he was being hailed as the next big thing, and here it is, what 15 years later, and never sniffed a title. I only hope the same for Lebron.

I never really cared about Lebron, or much for the NBA, I am more of a college basketball guy, but all this hoopla that was built up by him, only to basically tell the world "I can't win a title on my own, I need another superstar and 1st team All-Star to carry me to a title" is just ridiculus...

It makes me really dislike him, and I hope they fail miserably in Miami.

Bosh is a fool too, carrying on with his documentary crew, and his twitter account. Its like he is crying out for some attention. Look for him to be hawking Carlo's Cuban Sandwich Pit in Miami, those are the only endorsements he will be left getting, the scraps from Wade and the Queen.

LOL

Titles as a measure of a players worth is stupid. Especially in the case of Hill who may have had a ring had his ankle not broke into 50 pieces. What is ridiclous is that Kobe Bryant was saying the same exact thing a few years ago when he was pouting and demanding to be traded unless the lakers added some better pieces. I guess Chris Wallace being completely incompetent makes up for that. If you dont know who Chris Wallace is then you dont really know what is going on anyway.

Who know's about Hill, but I agree, without the injury, who knows what he could have done, or won. Who knows if Labron would have won a title if he didn't have his attitude? We could play guessing games all day long.

I dislike Kobe a ton too. Chris Wallace being an idiot played a part in the Lakers winning, but so has their ownership willing to pay $20mil in luxery tax.

I really dislike the NBA. I don't think I have enjoyed watching it since the Bull's run or the Piston years.

I was sucked into the Lebron/ESPN vortex...now I need to find a way out...

What the hell does Biggie have to do with the Lakers?

Watch the clash that will develope between Wade and LeMoi, mostly because of LeMoi.It will fracture the team due to the guy who already has proven he will quit even in play off time if he is not allowed to coach the team.

This will happen.

Riley, Bosh, Wade and LeBron need to be the 4 pussies and perform this song before tip-off opening night.
