Legit big fig. Yes the course was hard but that horse ran his eyeballs out.

Does anyone know if there is an irrigation/watering system for Monmouth's grass track? It was re-done in 2006, but their website doesn't state whether or not.
If so, it should have been used. If not, they should have watered it using water trucks. It was flat out irresponsible for them to run on a course that was listed as "hard". I'd be curious to know how many horses came out of their races with messed up shins. |
