Makes me want to vomit!!

Thanks PP, the Bengals got drilled yesterday and now I have to have this to remind me of how bad Keeneland is going to be...The Fall Meet at KEE was by far my best Meet of the year, for the last 4 years, had a signer out of it...I was in Lexington last Weekend, must have had 20 people ask me what weekends I was coming down for KEE, they were all stunned when I told them I was boycotting Keeneland...

PointG5,

Are you boycotting because of the poly? Turfway Park player?

Just wondering . . . fought with it last fall and through the winter at Turfway and finally ended up profitable. This revised poly is better . . . should be better to play than the old stuff.

Sorry guys I can't Complain About the Poly and Handicapping I had a $10 Exacta in the Juvenille and a $10 exacta in the Juvenille Fillies. I had Keyed both horse that ran 2nd in both races I had boxed them with several horses in each race.

I am not a huge bettor but I will step up and make a big play on occassion Especially if its horse I had something to do with. And I will continue that even if its at Keeneland.

I have no trouble learning to adapt to betting horses on the Polytrack.

There was a time when I played Turfway alot, about 7 years ago, but I do not play it much, unless it was Spiral or Ky Cup Day, now that they have Poly, I do not play them even on those days. It's like taking money and putting it in a blender.

I have no use for Keeneland, that Poly stuff is rediculous, you just don't know if horses are going to fire on it or not.

I would get my butt kicked in the Spring Meet at KEE, but Fall was my best Meet of the Year, I would crush that place in the Fall. It's depressing to me what they have done, I will not visit even to play simulcast. I still have Churchill and Belmont, those are my main tracks now and that's not all bad...

PointG5,

I've heard a lot of people say the same thing. In every racebook I've been to people have said they quit playing the poly. Turfway reports handle up. I wonder sometimes if they are telling the truth. I was there on KY Cup day and the crowd looked really small to me. Smallest I can remember.

Maybe the poly will prove so hard to handicap that bettors will leave horseracing. I hope all tracks don't switch.

And you're right . . . some horses just don't run on it. And it's tough to tell how shippers will like it.

I think the handle has increased, because they have missed less days due to weather...

Keeneland should be a good barometer, because the quality of horses and the meet, we'll see how the handle is there...
