Nice guy trainer, late plodding style, it's a brutal combination. Why is Shug so popular?

He seems to have a larger following than that - 8/5 or whatever he was in that race yesterday was funny.

He was 8/5 and it was beyond funny. I know he wasn't on my ticket.

If you are speaking of Setsuko, he is a good horse, but he needs every piece of 9 furlongs, and farther. I would like to see Mandella run that horse in the Belmont.

I was picking someone up from the airport and got a call that he was 3/5 opening click I just laughed. Seems like always a horse that wants to get into the Derby gets way overbet in another race on Derby Day and

Sounds pretty common sense to me -

<<Zito is hesitant to run Ice Box in two weeks because the colt ran so hard in the Kentucky Derby and he wants to have a horse to run in the big races the remainder of the year.

"He's a Pulpit and you worry about his mind,'' Zito said. "We ran twice as hard as the winner. He ran his guts out. I got to focus on the whole year. He could be a serious 3-year-old.''

I had a horrible day. I'm not mad though because at least I didn't tout Awesome Act. That horse is turrible.

Autotossing a Zito horse in the Belmont is about as wise as autotossing a Calvin Borel piloted horse in a Graded stakes at Churchill.

Zito and LaPenta disagree on whether to run Ice Box in the Preakness.

Then I will take my chances with it. Ice Box has a style that just doesn't win many races while his claim to fame was winning a a watered down Florida Derby over Pleasant Prince.
