My assumption was that Durkin gave up the Breeders Cup spot in 2006, so it would not breach a contract he had with NBC to call the Triple Crown races. If someone can advise that is not the case, I believe he will be doing them.

Kurt Becker called the races at Belmont while Durkin did the TC events. I believe he even did the Oaks, hence "Rachel Alexander"
